The boat is a 44.5ft Assegai fly bridge cruiser, fully equipped for day trips and live on-board charters. She was custom built on Queensland’s Gold Coast by Assegai Marine, renowned for building Australia’s finest sports fishing boats.
The boat features a Seakeeper gyro, search-light sonar, customized water-access ladder, ice-chipper and a full sized galley. She is a quick and nimble air-conditioned vessel with all the modern comforts. Two cabins provide overnight accommodation for up to 4 guests. With a cruising speed of 23-24 knots, she ensures you reach your destination quickly and efficiently.
Port Douglas is a unique and popular tourist town located a scenic 50 minute drive north of Cairns and is scattered with luxurious resorts, quaint shops and endless exploring activities set amongst the tropical rainforest.

The boat is undergoing a full refit a re-power in 2018 which will include a Seakeeper stabilisation gyro (which can limit sea sickness!) allowing her to operate is most weather condition in comfort and style.

The two cabins can provide overnight accommodation for up to 4 guests with 1 double and 4 single berths including crew accommodation. She has a full sized bathroom and temperature controlled air-conditioning throughout.
Facilities
A full range of rods and reels and matching terminal tackle is provided ranging from 15kg-60kg (including fighting chair) to suit the targeted species of fish. Finding the fish is aided by a state of the art electronics package, which includes a CHIRP sounder and searchlight sonar.
Scuba diving and snorkelling options are available.

A short 30 minute cruise from Port Douglas, you’ll discover an array of friendly marine life such as green sea turtles, trevally and small reef sharks. The boat features the latest fish-finding technology, quality tackle and an experienced local crew. Bottom fish for coral trout, nannygai and red emperor and troll for Spanish mackerel on the outer reef.
